After a very elaborate and critical assessment of all submissions the winners among the 45 nominees were presented to the audience. The national and international audience was welcomed by organizer and head of the Agency for Health & Wellness, Norbert Hintermayer. Presenter Olivia Peter ran through the night. The jazz band "Gino Brass" provided musical accompaniment.
The event was implemented by the Agency for Health & Wellness with support from Dr. Spiller Biocosmetic and TAC Informationstechnologie.
The awards are the result of an independent jury and represent the toughest independent evaluation in Europe. An extensive questionnaire and a mystery check is based on the assessment. The evaluation is carried out on the basis of 8 criteria points (design & engineering, health, offers & service, economy, benefit, creativity, sustainability and social corporate responsibility (SCR)). The European HEALTH & SPA AWARD have been awarded in 10 different categories. Honored have been European wellness companies, spa manager, product innovations and treatments.
