After a long and very costly process 45 submissions out of 101 participants have been nominated for the AWARD in ten categories. Awarded were the best employees, spas, treatments and innovations in Europe by an independent jury of selected experts. Thereby also the Mystery Check by anonymous testers played an important role.

The best entries will be awarded at a gala evening. The main winners will receive an award and media presence in the value of nearly 3.000 Euros, the total value of the advertised amount is almost 30,000 Euros!
As already in the past few years, the Agency for Health & Wellness stands behind the awards, which reward excellence and innovation in the industry with the "Oscar" of the spa and wellness industry. The will to change, as well as quality of wellness and product innovations will be highlighted. Not only the status quo of quality in health and spa facilities will be honored, though, but also the contribution to safeguarding the future of companies.
The evaluation of the submitted companies is performed by a top-class jury, consisting of experts, leaders of the wellness industry and relevant persons from business and the media. The following criteria are evaluated: design & technology, health, offers & service, benefits, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, creativity, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and a mystery check (anonymous testing).
The gala evening will take place in the magnificent Palais Hansen Kempinski in Vienna. The ORF presenter Olivia Peter will be the host of the gala.
We look forward this year especially to our star guest Stella Jones! (www.stelluna.com) She is the daughter of the American bebop trumpet player Carmel Jones and the blues singer and fluxus artist Christine Jones and also performed on the Euro Vision Song Contest.

A novelty at the ceremony in 2013 was the awarding of brilliants. Companies that reached a certain number of points or even exceeded, were also awarded with 1 to 4 "brilliants". This should help to better represent the achieved performance and to communicate it to the guests. Also, it represents a further differentiation of the performance and an additional award.
