The award is regarded as the only independent awards for health and Spa innovations and Spa manager throughout Europe.

After a long and elaborate jury process, the nominees will be awarded soon. This year's 42 nominees were able to demonstrate their sovereignty and quality in ten categories. The categories to be distinguished are first the best employees and the best treatments of a Spa, as well as entire spa facilities and the latest innovations in the fields of technology and cosmetics. An important part of the selection process for the best submitted product, hotel or spa in the respective category was not only the jury but also again the anonymous test and mystery check.

In addition to a prize, the award is endowed with a total value of almost 30,000,- euro. The best submissions will be awarded as part of a gala evening in Vienna and awarded the European Health & Spa Awards on site. These will be held in the luxurious Park Hyatt Vienna for the first time on June 21 this year. In the most beautiful hotel of the city, the agency invites the high-ranking company representatives and top of the European wellness industry to a glamorous gala. There is also a guided tour of the city's most elegant and largest spa on request. To do this, please register at least one day in advance.

Besides this exceptional location, there is also another musical highlight this year, which is particularly noteworthy this time. "We are very proud to present to you this year with Elias Meiri and his quartet a musical world star with great musicians. So Clara Montocchio will take over the part of the vocals and Janis Raptis on the guitar and Daniel Aeby on drums takes care for the right swing. The Israeli Meiri, among others, was at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and played with numerous jazz legends, including Dizzie Gillespie, Dave Liebmann and Steve Großmann. This musical program gives the evening even more brilliance, "said the head of the agency Norbert Hintermayer.

The evening will be accompanied by the enchanting ORF presenter Olivia Peter. So are among the heads of lots of top manager and celebrities.

Not by accident, the lucrative award of the Agency for Health & Wellness is compared with the "Oscar” in the film industry. Aim of the institution is to reward outstanding achievements and innovations in the industry, as well as to announce the quality of individual wellness and their innovations across Europe. Important is not only the quality status quo of a company, but also how far this can contribute to secure the future of the operation.

Not just a team of skilled and passionate mystery tester was helpful in assessing undeniably high quality standards, the jury of experts, leaders and individuals in business and the media were also important to assess. A representative of the jury Sven Huckenbeck, who has just won the "Pink Diamond Award" in Paris for his outstanding achievements as a SPA manager, will also present on stage the laudation of the winners.

For the evaluation in the jury a holistic view of the company and the SPA as well as, eight individual categories were crucial for the eventual evaluation: design & technology, health, offer & service, benefits, economy, sustainability, creativity and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Since 2013, the final score of the participants is also supplemented awarded by "Brilliants" from a certain number of points. Companies can get 1 to 4 brilliants according to the points. This should help to differentiate an achieved high performance, as well as to communicate a more vivid form of the award to the guests.
