The Agency for Health & Wellness is looking forward once again to receiving numerous submissions by June 25, 2021, to the 13th European HEALTH & SPA Awards. The European HEALTH & SPA Awards are not only unique in the decision-making process, but also independent and critical; the evaluation criteria also are clear and transparent. The interplay of high quality in service, the architectural ambience, as well as the innovative strength of preventive health concepts play now an important role. That is why the Awards are of great importance, especially this year. As usual, the Awards will be presented by a luxurious gala evening at the end of October 2021.
Seldom has the implementation of preventive health measures been more important. Therefore, many should take the chance to be present at the 13th European HEALTH & SPA Awards to see where they currently stand with their quality standards. Especially now, because lack of staff in tourism, "employer branding" is very relevant and the award is also a special business card for the companies! Because we know how important it is to constantly check the service, especially in the spa. The many years of experience in the industry of the experts of the mystery check and the jury of the agency helps in this case. The agency's managing director and industry expert Norbert Hintermayer emphasises: "The range of participating applicants is important because they come from all over Europe and give us a good overview of where the market trends are heading. The award also shows that constant innovation and optimisation is necessary to meet the ever-changing needs of the guest.
Health and a healthy lifestyle have also become a megatrend that permeates all levels of society. At the same time, we also want to be a support for businesses in these difficult times."
Concept
All registrants demonstrate their high quality standards in eight areas: health concept, sustainability, design & technology, benefit for the guest, corporate social responsibility (CSR), profitability, creativity, offer & service. The unique award concept is based on a transparent catalogue of criteria and the two-stage evaluation system (Criteria for Evaluation) the winners are determined objectively and independently. The result is calculated from the evaluations of experienced professional judges and independent mystery checks by industry experts. All these components lead to an objective result that is unique in Europe.
In addition, the hygiene guidelines are also tested, which can also be used as proof of a Covid-19 free company.
New category - Best Premium Hotels & Spas
Since there are a few companies for years that regularly exceed the points mark of 41 points, we have decided to award them in a separate category in the future under "Best Premium Hotels & Spas". The maximum of points are 50. Since these companies offer not only Europe-wide but worldwide unique service and this is therefore also particularly appreciated by this category!
Certificate
Also a unique certificate in Europe, (EHSQ - European HEALTH & SPA QUALITY) can be claimed, which now exists for two years, which not only distinguishes the company, but also creates trust with the guest.
In the last two years the first companies have already been awarded with the EHSQ certificate (European HEALTH & SPA QUALITY) and this year you can apply again in three categories (Bronze certificate / Silver certificate / Gold certificate). The certificate offers new possibilities and sets new standards. We also support and accompany you in the implementation of the criteria comparatively as an ISO certification.
Winning amount
The three best entries in the 12 existing categories will be awarded, receive media exposure and will be honored at the gala event. The total value of the European HEALTH & SPA Awards once again amounts over 30,000 Euros.
Companies can register for the awards in a multifaceted spectrum of categories, which can also be viewed by the companies. In addition, cosmetics and product manufacturers with innovative products for the wellness sector can also apply.
