In the "Corona Year" many event were cancelled – but so far not the European HEALTH & SPA AWARD 2020! We also want to send a signal for international wellness tourism and show that travel is possible even in these difficult times, with the necessary care and the necessary hygiene rules. Because without travel, tourism is dead and that cannot and should not be our goal, because tourism generates enormous added value and many other industries participate from it and generate large turnovers.

This year, the award ceremony will not take place in Vienna, but in beautiful Baden near Vienna. As always, the potential prizewinners were able to prove themselves with their spas, treatments and product innovations in the areas of design/technology, health, benefits, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, creativity, corporate social responsibility, offer and service. Spa management had the opportunity to score points with personal, operational, professional and industry expertise, as well as creativity and corporate social responsibility.

The evaluation was carried out in two stages, not only by industry jurors, but also in the form of Mystery Checks, which were carried out by experts.

Also this year we offer you an excellent musical supporting program with the Paul Temmel Terzett and the singer Lisa Koloseus. This year, the charming ORF presenter Olivia Peter will accompany us again with the award ceremony.

EHSQ certificate already awarded
Last year, the first companies were awarded with the EHSQ certificate (European HEALTH & SPA QUALITY) and you can register again this year in three categories. (“Bronze” certification, “Silver” certification, “Gold” certification) The certificate offers new possibilities and sets new standards. We also support and accompany you in the implementation of the criteria in a comparative manner as with an ISO certification.
